Fresh!

You can usually buy fresh fish in Oranjestad by the docks in the harbor near The Renaissance.

You may also be able to get fresh fish from the fishing boats that dock between the Marriott Surf Club and the Holiday Inn (Hadicurari Fisherman's Pier). They return in the late morning around 10:00 am and late afternoon. They usually sell their catch to the restaurants and are reluctant to sell to you, but we have been successful with a smile. Ask them to clean the fish for you.
